Transparent dressings made of waterproof material, which allow gas exchange from the skin, available in various shapes and sizes.
Indications:
- Can be used as a primary or secondary dressing.
- Secondary dressing on gauze, hydrocolloids, alginates, foams or hydrogels.
- Protective eye coverage.
- Care of the IV site (peripheral or central).
- On clean and superficial wounds (favors a humid environment for optimal healing); 1st and 2nd degree burns, stage I-II pressure ulcers.
- Closed surgical wound.
- Graft donor area.

Fixapo Film Pad
Transparent waterproof dressings with non-stick central pad to protect the wound.
Application:

- Prepare the skin according to the institution's protocol; let the aseptic solution dry
- Remove the liner and expose the adhesive.

- As you remove the application frame, smooth the edge of the dressing over the skin with your fingertips.

- Align the slit in the support frame with the catheter connector.
- Apply the dressing to the top of the connector.

- Gently adjust the dressing to fit snugly around the connector and smooth it from the center to the edges, applying firm pressure to improve adhesion.

- Apply firm pressure to the clear film for better adhesion to the skin and the connector.

- Place the marking strip on the corner of the dressing or on the skin.
Remove:

- Remove the marking strip from the dressing.

- Remove the dressing slowly 180o backwards stabilizing the surrounding skin to avoid damage.
