- Prevents accidental disconnection (decannulations) of fistula needles.
- Provides an occlusion of the puncture site.

Application:
- Secure the fistula to the patient, remove the larger liner and place the dressing over the insertion site.
- Bring the wings of the fistula together so that they can fit through the slot in the dressing.
- Place an adhesive on the wings of the fistula needle.
- Spread the lower portions of the dressing, remove the liners from each end, and apply the dressing to the skin in a V shape.
Removal:
- Peel the lower portions of the dressing from the skin.
- Remove the tape is over the wings of the fistula needle.
- Attach the lower portions of the dressing to the top that is pasted to the insertion site.
- Completely remove the dressing by pulling on the wings that form in the lower portions.
